MICHELE 

Registered Dental Assistant

Michele has 29 years of dental experience as a registered dental assistant at Waukon Dental! She loves her job because she loves her patients, her work family, and loves learning new dental techniques over the years. 

Michele married her husband, Jim, after graduating high school in 1989 and has 5 children - Brittany (Nick), Taylor (Michelle), Logan, Kaela (Cole), and Kortney. She is a proud grandma to five grandchildren as well! In her spare time, she is involved in Awana as the director, is a Sunday School teacher, and enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her family.

TONJA

Registered Dental Assistant

Tonja has over 25 years of experience in the dental field as a registered dental assistant at Waukon Dental. After graduating high school, Tonja began working full-time at Waukon Dental. Her favorite part about her job is meeting new people, helping patients overcome their fear of the dentist, and having the best co-workers/friends to work with! 

Tonja was born and raised in Waukon, IA, and graduated in 1995 from Waukon High School. Tonja is the proud mother to two children, Mason and Mylan, and also loves being a grandma to her granddaughter, Isla. Outside of work, Tonja loves ATV riding, kayaking, and boutique shopping!

BRANDI

Registered & Cert. DA/Admin. Secretary

Brandi is a registered dental assistant and administrative secretary at Waukon Dental. She joined our team in 2015 after working for a dental office in Cedar Falls, IA. After graduating high school in 2008 from Crestwood HS in Cresco, IA, she attended Hawkeye Community College where she received a diploma in dental assisting in 2010. She also has received schooling in 2013 for DANB, and Expanded Functions in 2014 from Kirkwood. She loves her job at Waukon Dental because she enjoys meeting and talking with new people and learning new dental products and techniques! Brandi adds, "I love my coworkers and I enjoy doing my different roles in the office!" 

Brandi married her husband, Luke, in 2014. They have two kids, Hadley and Lincoln, and two fur pets, Indy (dog) and Penny (cat). When not at work, Brandi enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking/baking with her kids, hiking, gardening, and learning to can!

MCKENZIE

Registered Dental Assistant 

McKenzie is a registered dental assistant and began working at Waukon Dental in 2021 after graduating from Kirkwood Community College and Northeast Iowa Community College. McKenzie enjoys meeting new people, and loves making patients feel good about their smile while working with a great team! 

McKenzie graduated from Waukon High School in 2019. She enjoys ATV riding, helping out on the family farm, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

SKYLAR

Registered Dental Assistant 

Skylar is a registered dental assistant and began working at Waukon Dental in August 2021 after graduating with her dental assistant diploma. Currently, Skylar is attending Hawkeye Community College for dental hygiene while working at Waukon Dental. 

In her free time, Skylar likes to watch plays/musicals, and spend time with family and friends. A few of her favorite things are traveling, learning about new cultures,  gaining real-life education, and visiting national parks. She hopes to one day travel abroad.

KRISTEN

Marketing & Public Relations Director

Kristen is the Marketing & Public Relations Director for Waukon Dental, Family Dentistry Associates of Monona, and Dental Associates of Prairie du Chien, P.C. Kristen joined our practices in February of 2017 after moving back to northeast Iowa. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people in the local communities, and seeing people love their smiles, and being able to share that excitement thru pictures, design, and testimonials. 

Kristen graduated from Waldorf University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communication and an emphasis in Journalism and Public Relations. In her free time, Kristen loves to be on the river, explore a new gravel road, and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite title is "Auntie" and she loves any time she can hang out with her nieces and nephews!
